Mr Wivey Tech Services is a sole trader providing home and business technology support in Wiveliscombe and across West Somerset. For any privacy question, email hello@mrwivey.co.uk.
When you use the enquiry form, call, message or email me, I collect your name, contact details and whatever you tell me about the problem you need help with. If I work on your devices I may see files and account information on them.
Your details are used only to reply to your enquiry, arrange and carry out the work, and issue invoices or keep records required by law. I never sell your information and I do not send marketing unless you ask me to.
Anything I see while repairing or supporting your equipment is treated as confidential. Passwords are used only to complete the agreed work and are not retained afterwards. Remote support sessions require your consent each time and you can end them at any moment.
Enquiry messages are kept while we are in contact and for a short period afterwards. Invoices and job records are kept for six years to meet UK tax requirements.
Under UK GDPR you can ask to see the information I hold about you, have it corrected, or have it deleted where I am not legally required to keep it. Email me and I will respond within one month. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
